Longley Diesel & Equipment Service is looking to hire an experienced diesel truck technician for commercial trucks, buses, and heavy equipment with diesel engines. You must have your own tools. A valid driver's license is required and a CDL is a plus. We have been in business since 1992 and we have one of the largest independent repair facilities in Lubbock, Texas. Pay will be based on experience and knowledge. Use computer diagnostic software and manual testing tools to find mechanical and electrical problems in Class 6 through 8 trucks Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, including fluid changes, filter replacements, and lubrication Overhaul, repair, or replace major components like engines, transmissions, drivetrains, and air brake systems Follow DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulation during all service and inspection procedures Record parts used, repair steps taken, and hours worked on service orders PACCAR, Navistar, Mac/Volvo, and Cummins experience is a plus
