Turner Industries Group is looking for experienced Auto/ Diesel Equipment Mechanics for long-term nested maintenance at a site in the Texas City, TX area. The successful candidate will have experience working on heavy equipment, gas/ diesel engines, and hydraulic systems as well as small engine pieces of equipment such as golf carts and tractors. TWIC Required.

This position offers:

Regular 40 Hours+ per week (Overtime after 40) Overtime and call-outs as needed - overtime paid at time-and-a-half Health, (BCBS) Dental, (Delta) Vision, and Life insurance available 401k with employer match from day 1, no vesting required Short/ Long-term disability available Equipment Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities Perform electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical repairs as well as preventative maintenance Troubleshoot issues with diesel engines Determine what parts and tools are necessary to make repairs Complete shop paperwork Maintain a clean and safe work area Heavy Equipment Mechanic Requirements and Qualifications High school diploma or GED certificate Post-secondary certificate or degree in engineering OR training as a mechanic is a plus 5+ years of experience with diesel/heavy equipment repair TWIC Card Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Per diem and relocation is not available for this position; the successful candidate will be a current resident in the Houston metro area.
