Job Description
Diesel/Automotive Mechanic We are looking for an experienced, dependable mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 5-10 years of experience working on diesel and gasoline-powered equipment. Applicants should have their own mechanic's tools (shop tools are provided), be able to provide three professional references , and preferably live within 30 minutes of our shop. This position offers starting pay up to $30.00 per hour , depending on experience. You'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet, including heavy equipment, over-the-road trucks, pickups, trailers, small engines, forklifts, scissor lifts, and other construction equipment. The work is varied, with repairs performed both in our shop and occasionally in the field. Additional responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance, scheduling and completing equipment greasing, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, and helping keep our fleet safe, reliable, and ready for work.
