Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in maintaining and repairing diesel engines and related systems. Primarily with Cummins, Powerstroke and Duramax engines. This role involves working with various types of Diesel engines and vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing repairs, and conducting routine maintenance.. Duties Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on diesel engines and related systems. Conduct routine maintenance checks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and checking fluid levels. Repair or replace defective parts using power tools and hand tools. Work with schematics to understand the layout of electrical systems and components. Provide tire service, including installation, rotation, and balancing. Operate equipment as needed for testing or repairs. Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing all tasks. Document all repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles and equipment. Qualifications Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role. Proficiency in using power tools and diagnostic equipment. Strong understanding of equipment maintenance practices. Knowledge of electrical systems related to diesel engines is preferred. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment. A valid driver's license; additional certifications related to diesel mechanics are beneficial.
