Heavy Equipment Mechanic Asphalt Paving Industry |

Full-Time Starting Pay:

$35/hour We are looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair our fleet of paving equipment. This role includes both shop work and field service calls. What You'll Do Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on pavers, milling machines, rollers, dump trucks, skid steers, and lowboys Diagnose and repair diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems Conduct daily equipment inspections and troubleshoot issues Handle service calls and field repairs at job sites Travel to job sites as needed Deliver and install parts Maintain a clean, safe shop and work environment What We're Looking For Experience working on heavy equipment (paving equipment preferred) Strong knowledge of diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems Ability to work independently and solve problems in the field Reliable, safety-focused, and detail-oriented Must hold a valid Class A CDL license Physical Requirements Lift and carry 50+ lbs regularly Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the day Why Work With Us Competitive starting pay at $35/hour Company-provided Peterbilt service truck for field work Steady, year-round work Established, team-oriented company Well-maintained equipment Benefits include medical/dental/vision,401(k) plan and paid time off
