Commercial Trucks Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic David's Towing and Tire Newport News, VA Job Details Full-time $36 - $40 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Vision insurance 401(k) matching Employee discount Professional development assistance Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Vehicle mechanics for truck drivers Diesel mechanics Diesel truck repair Motor Vehicle Inspection License Mechanical knowledge Diesel engine repair Full Job Description Candidate must be able to accurately diagnose, work to repair, and perform preventative maintenance on Straight Trucks, Box Trucks, Motor Homes, and Large Trucks. Candidate will perform services In-Shop and Road Service Calls Candidate will be on a rotational schedule for after-hours calls and immediate response calls. Candidate should have at least 2 years of mechanical experience. Candidate should have a State Inspection License or be willing to work towards one within the first 3 months of employment
