TRUCK TECHNICIAN NEEDED.
Job Description:
Mobile/Emergency Road Call service. On-site PM service. When not on Mobile Service calls will work in the shop with the ability to perform and/or assist with the following: Engine repairs, valve adjustments, fuel injector replacements.
Transmission and driveline:
clutches, PTO'S, U-joints, differentials. Electrical diagnostics, computer diagnostics, wire by wire analysis. Trailer repairs to include lighting, suspension, brakes and doors. HVAC diagnostics, repairs and charging.
Welding:
(Not Required) minor to medium weld repairs. Federal DOT Inspections. After Treatment diagnostics and repairs.

We are American Fleet Service, Inc. and we are looking for all levels of Diesel Truck Technicians with diagnostic experience that want a career in a supportive and friendly work environment. We service all makes and models of trucks and trailers. This position would be mobile and in shop work. We've been in business for 18-years. We're an Independent Diesel Truck Shop in Portsmouth, Virginia. Highly Competitive Hourly Pay, Paid weekly. Paid Vacation and Holidays. Health, Dental, and other Supplemental Insurance are offered. Retirement Plan with Company Match. 5-Day Work Week (Monday-Friday) 8 AM to 5 PM and No Weekends. Paid continuing education and certifications. Extra pay for inspection license and
EACH ASE
Certification. Uniforms provided. Flexibility on time off.
REQUIRED
Valid driver's license. Your Own Tools - (Large shop tools and diagnostic equipment are supplied by the company.)
PREFERRED NOT REQUIRED
CDL. State Inspection License. ASE Certifications.
EPA609 A/C
Certification. Technical School Training.
