Job Description
Full-Time | Competitive Pay + Overtime Available S.D. Ireland Companies has been family-owned and operated for over 50 years, and we know our people are the reason for our success. We're looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our team maintaining our fleet of dump trucks, concrete mixers, and pump trucks . This position is primarily shop-based, with occasional field service calls. Whether you're an experienced diesel mechanic or looking to grow your skills, we encourage you to apply. We're willing to train the right candidate with a strong mechanical aptitude and a great attitude. What You'll Do Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on dump trucks, mixers, and pump trucks Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, diesel engine, drivetrain, suspension, and braking systems Troubleshoot mechanical issues and complete repairs efficiently Perform occasional field service calls Work independently while collaborating with a skilled team What We're Looking For Experience as a Diesel Mechanic or strong mechanical aptitude Knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, diesel engine, drivetrain, suspension, and braking systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license required All experience levels are encouraged to apply Why Join S.D.
