Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance on Genesee Energy's fleet of propane and diesel delivery trucks, including Freightliners, Peterbilts, Kenworths and Isuzus Perform lube, oil and filter (LOF) services on schedule Inspect, service and repair brake systems Diagnose and repair engine issues, including tune ups, belts, hoses, cooling systems and exhaust/emissions systems Perform preventive maintenance and DOT inspections to keep the fleet road ready and compliant Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic and PTO systems on delivery trucks Keep accurate maintenance records and communicate truck status to the Fleet Manager Move trucks around the yard and to and from service bays as needed Keep the shop clean, organized and safe Other duties as needed to keep the fleet running, this list covers the core of the job but not everything you may be asked to do

Requirements:

Proven experience as a diesel mechanic/technician, heavy truck experience preferred CDL-A preferred, so you can move trucks around the yard and to service locations Tools provided Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work independently Willingness to respond to occasional after-hours emergency calls Reports to the

$25.00 - $38.00 per hour

Schedule:

Monday to Friday Day shift, typically 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM, with occasional hours beyond that and after-hours emergency calls as needed
