We are looking for an experienced Automotive & Diesel Technician to join our team. We service all makes and models of gasoline and diesel vehicles, specializing in light- and medium-duty trucks and diesel passenger vehicles. We have a very low technician turnover rate, experienced coworkers, modern equipment, current OEM diagnostic subscriptions, and a strong commitment to giving technicians the tools and space they need to work efficiently. We're Building a Brand-New Shop DKDiesel is currently building a new 16,000-square-foot, 16-bay repair facility . The new shop is being designed around technician productivity and efficiency. Each technician will have three full vehicle bays dedicated to them , allowing you to keep multiple jobs moving without constantly waiting for vehicles, parts, approvals, or bay space. For an experienced technician, that means more productive hours, less wasted time, and greater earning potential. Compensation $35-$58 per hour , depending on experience, qualifications, diagnostic ability, and productivity. Annual earning potential of approximately $70,000-$120,000+. A $3,500 signing bonus is available for qualified applicants. We are looking for experienced technicians and are willing to compensate accordingly. Benefits Employer-paid health insurance Paid vacation Paid holidays Paid training On-the-job technical training Retirement plan Employee discount Provided uniforms $3,500 signing bonus for qualified applicants Clean and well-maintained work environment Current OEM and aftermarket diagnostic equipment Experienced Master-level coworkers Three dedicated vehicle bays per technician in our new facility Primary Responsibilities Accurately diagnose customer concerns using current technical information and diagnostic equipment Perform inspections, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on gasoline and diesel vehicles Diagnose electrical, electronic, mechanical, fuel system, drivability, and hydraulic concerns Review repair orders and communicate effectively with service advisors and supervisors Address the customer's original concerns before moving on to additional recommended repairs Thoroughly inspect vehicles for legitimate maintenance, safety, and repair needs Complete repairs efficiently and correctly with an emphasis on fixing the vehicle right the first time Complete repair orders, digital inspections, and required documentation accurately Maintain a clean and organized work area Protect customer vehicles and return them as clean as or cleaner than when they arrived Communicate professionally with coworkers and customers Arrive on time, prepared, and ready to work What We're Looking For Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of current, verifiable automotive and/or diesel technician experience . We are especially interested in technicians with strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.

The ideal candidate will have:

Automotive and/or diesel diagnostic experience Experience servicing multiple vehicle makes and models Diesel and gasoline engine repair experience Engine overhaul experience Strong electrical and electronic diagnostic skills Drivability and performance diagnostic experience Hydraulic and mechanical troubleshooting abilities Experience using electronic scan tools and diagnostic equipment Ability to read wiring diagrams and technical service information Basic welding and cutting skills Strong computer skills Good communication skills Professional appearance and work ethic Positive attitude Ability to work effectively as part of a team Strong attention to detail Good judgment and problem-solving abilities A proven history of meeting or exceeding productivity goals Technicians must provide their own hand tools.
