Diesel Mechanic - Agricultural Equipment & Fleet Service RBraun Inc. | Full-Time RBraun Inc. is seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our growing agricultural service team. This position is ideal for an experienced technician who enjoys diagnosing problems, performing quality repairs, and working on a wide variety of agricultural and commercial equipment. What You'll Work On You will diagnose, maintain, and repair a diverse range of equipment, including: Semi tractors Farm tractors and agricultural equipment Farm implements Diesel-powered vehicles and equipment Gas-powered vehicles and equipment Commercial and shop equipment Key Responsibilities Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and driveline issues using diagnostic tools and troubleshooting techniques Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, adjustments, and equipment inspections Service and repair engines, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation Conduct safety inspections and identify equipment concerns before they become major issues Maintain accurate service records and work orders Keep the shop clean, organized, and operating safely Follow all company policies and OSHA safety standards QualificationsRequired High school diploma or GED Minimum of 2 years of mechanic, diesel technician, maintenance technician, or related experience Strong understanding of diesel engines, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, transmissions, and mechanical systems Experience using diagnostic software, scan tools, and mechanical testing equipment Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, kneeling, and twisting Must provide personal hand tools and toolbox Strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship Preferred ASE certifications or equivalent technical certifications DOT inspection experience or certification Experience with agricultural equipment, heavy equipment, fleet maintenance, or commercial trucks Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong communication and customer service skills Why Join RBraun Inc.?
