Power Generator Technician Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Power Generator Technician, where you will be at the forefront of maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting power generation systems to ensure reliable energy supply. Your expertise will keep critical equipment running smoothly, supporting various industries and applications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with state-of-the-art machinery, develop your technical skills, and contribute to vital infrastructure operations. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on power generators, including diesel engines and electrical systems. Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic tools. Repair and overhaul generator components such as engines, alternators, control panels, and cooling systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized equipment to complete repairs efficiently. Conduct small engine maintenance and perform heavy lifting as needed for equipment installation or replacement. Interpret technical manuals, schematics, and electrical diagrams to accurately identify issues and implement solutions. Ensure all work complies with safety standards and environmental regulations while maintaining high-quality service for clients. Qualifications Proven dealership experience or service technician background in automotive or industrial equipment repair. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in diesel engine repair and power generation systems. Electrical diagnostics expertise with the ability to read schematics and troubleshoot electrical circuits effectively. Familiarity with equipment troubleshooting, generator repair, and electrical work in industrial settings. Proficiency using a tablet/ laptop for processing work orders and looking up schematics and service manuals. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering devices, and other maintenance tools. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while lifting heavy components or equipment. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and communication. Pay:
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
