You'll perform installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, testing, and repair of Aggreko's electrical power distribution equipment, including transformers, switchgear, load banks, cables, battery energy storage systems (BESS) and related systems. This role supports both field and service center operations while ensuring compliance with safety regulations, technical standards, and customer expectations. Power without pause. Heating, cooling and oil-free air without end. We keep our customers' worlds on. From world-class events that last a few weeks to mining operations and remote communities who rely on us for decades. What you'll do as an Electrical Technician Perform preventive maintenance and repairs of equipment and documents this as directed supervisor. Set up and operate equipment as directed both in-house and at customer locations. Complete necessary paperwork timely and accurately which may include data entry and general use of relevant computer systems and software as directed, equipment and procedural as required (i.e. expense reports, training records, etc.). Troubleshoot equipment failures both in-house and on customer locations and handle repairs. Utilize mathematical formulas to determine both nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements. Test, maintain, and repair BESS products including battery cells, modules, controls, and related ancillary systems (fire suppressant, hvac, etc.). Set up, commission, operate equipment at customer sites.
