Small lockable toolbox or tool bag 1/4" drive socket set 1/4" drive extensions - 2" and 6" Needle-nose pliers Side-cutter pliers Flush-cut pliers Wire strippers Scissors Standard and Phillips screwdriver sets Metric tape measure Flashlight Utility knife Digital Volt/Ohm Meter (DVOM) Terminal crimper - Mac, TCT-1028, TCT-112M, or equivalent W-crimpers with weather-pack side Pick set Micro torch Locker lock Portable soldering iron Job Summary We are seeking an Electrical Technician I to select, measure, and prepare electrical wiring and perform instrument startup, calibration, functional testing, and safety testing on products. The technician will work with experienced team members on project work and customer interactions. Essential Responsibilities Assemble, install, and perform functional and safety tests on electrical wiring using hand tools and proper assembly techniques. Follow work instructions, blueprints, cut sheets, sample harnesses, BOMs, schematics, and P&IDs. Track inventory of project parts and supplies. Inspect and validate the quality of wire harness assemblies. Teardown and rework donor harnesses. Collaborate with cross-functional project teams. Maintain shop organization and cleanliness. Work overtime and weekends as required. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1-3 years of previous electrical, wiring, electrical assembly, automotive, or related technician experience. Proficient with hand and power tools. Ability to understand electrical/electronic schematics and component documentation. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work overtime and weekends. Preferred Qualifications Certificate in Engineering Technology or a related field. ASE certification(s). Experience with automotive powertrain or electric battery systems. Knowledge of vehicle systems, including powertrain, chassis, electrical, thermal, exterior, interior, and related components, materials, and fasteners.
