Job Description
Entry-Level Powersports Technician Start Your Career with Hunter Power Sports Hunter Power Sports is looking for a motivated and hands-on Entry-Level Powersports Technician to join our growing service team. If you enjoy working with tools, learning how machines work, and want to develop your skills in the powersports industry, this is a great opportunity to get started. You'll work alongside experienced technicians while gaining hands-on experience servicing, preparing, and maintaining motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and personal watercraft. What You'll Do Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, fluid services, tire and brake work, and other basic repairs. Assist experienced technicians with diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and fuel-related concerns. Assemble and prepare new motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and watercraft. Install accessories and enhancements such as winches, plow kits, lighting, exhaust systems, and other equipment. Complete Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) to ensure units are safe and ready for customers. Properly document completed work and service records. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. What We're Looking For Basic understanding of 2-stroke and 4-stroke engines. Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment. Mechanical aptitude and ability to understand how mechanical systems work. Strong interest in learning and developing a career in powersports. Good attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. Valid driver's license. Motorcycle endorsement required or must be obtainable within 90 days.
