Responsibilities:
Perform all duties including, but not limited to, the installation, repair, and adjustments to gas and diesel power machines and equipment including ignition and electrical systems, engines, power trains, tires, steering systems, and front ends; grease, wash, and change oil; paint, weld, and body work
Perform all specific duties in a diligent and professional workmanlike manner
To operate and make use of required mechanical equipment relating to and in performance of specific duties
Operate vehicles for purpose of transportation of materials and equipment in the performance of duties
Maintain the necessary records for the acquisition and the inventory of materials as required
Assist other trades for the harmonious and expeditiouspletion of specific assignments specific deficiencies and unsafe conditions in related Campus systems
Must have own hand tools to perform duties in a professional manner
Perform other related work as assigned and overtime as required
Conform to the safety and efficiency standards established by Bard College
Qualifications:
Physical ability and willingness to perform related work assigned.
Must be a high school graduate or the equivalent.
Verifiable professional work experience in mechanics and/or trade school certificate
Must have valid NYS driver's license

Compensation:
$38.80/hour less a $0.75/hour probationary adjustment for the first 90 days This salary range reflects the College's good faith and reasonable estimate of thepensation for the position at the time of the job posting.
