In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining vehicle transmission systems with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will ensure that each vehicle operates smoothly, providing reliable performance for our customers. Duties Install new transmission systems into a variety of vehicles following manufacturer specifications and safety standards Diagnose transmission issues using specialized tools and technical knowledge Remove and replace worn or damaged transmission components with precision hand tools and power tools Conduct thorough inspections of transmissions to ensure proper operation before finalizing installation Use electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters to verify electrical connections and system integrity Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks related to transmission systems, including fluid changes and adjustments Maintain detailed service records, documenting all repairs, parts used, and procedures performed Requirements Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical manuals and diagrams Experience working with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment in automotive settings Familiarity with vehicle maintenance procedures, particularly related to transmissions Ability to operate electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters accurately Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail for precise installations and repairs Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy components and work in various positions Prior experience in automotive or truck repair shops is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate Join us if you're passionate about vehicle mechanics and eager to develop your skills in a vibrant environment!
