Master Technician Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Master Technician to lead our service team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing complex diagnostics, advanced repairs, and providing mentorship to junior technicians. You will be the "go-to" expert for the most challenging technical issues, ensuring all work meets the highest standards of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities:

Advanced Diagnostics:

Utilize high-level diagnostic tools and software to identify complex mechanical, electrical, or hydraulic malfunctions.

Precision Repair:

expert-level repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical systems, and specialized equipment.

Quality Control:

Perform final inspections and test drives on completed jobs to ensure 100% customer satisfaction and safety.

Mentorship:

Lead and train apprentice and journeyman technicians, reviewing their work and guiding their professional development.

Documentation:

Maintain meticulous records of all repairs, parts used, and labor hours via the shop management system.

Safety Compliance:

Strict adherence to OSHA standards and environmental regulations regarding hazardous waste disposal.

Qualifications:

Education:

High School Diploma or GED required; Degree in Automotive/Industrial Technology preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of 8-10 years of hands-on experience in the field.

Skills:

Proficiency with specialized diagnostic software; preferred understanding of Mitchell 1/Prospect/ProDemand software.

Tools:

Must possess a complete set of own professional-grade hand and power tools.

License:

Valid Drivers License and a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.

Exposure to shop noise, heat, and occasional fumes.

Ability to move vehicles in and out of the service/bay area. This position will have little to no customer interaction. Must be able to pass a Background Check and a drug test. No weekends required.
