We're looking for an experienced Field Services Lead to join our growing team in Kingston, WA. This is an in-office position based at our operations facility, with field work at port locations. About the Position You bring the medium voltage expertise. We will teach you shore power, a specialty very few people in this industry have and almost no one else will train you in. As a Field Services Lead, you will oversee the operations, installation, and repair of shore power equipment at port locations. You will direct field technicians and subcontractors on site through testing, installation, and maintenance work, supporting customer communication on site and holding every job to our standards for quality and safety. This role calls for strong technical expertise in medium voltage electrical equipment, the judgment to run a site without being on the tools, and the drive to work in a part of the industry that is still being built. What You'll Do Lead and coordinate field technicians and subcontractors engaged in testing, installation, construction, and repair of shore power equipment Create schedules and work plans for field technicians to optimize operations and meet deadlines Procure materials and equipment required for assigned projects, tracking lead times to keep schedules on target Estimate and bid maintenance and service projects, including scope, labor, and material costs Forecast shore power equipment repair needs and prepare maintenance project budgets and cost es-timates for management review Direct field technicians on emergency repairs and issue resolution, requiring some availability after hours and on weekends Maintain awareness and involvement in the resolution of customer situations and equipment prob-lems Maintain accurate records and documentation of service activity for assigned sites Draft reports and presentations for delivery to customers and leadership Communicate site safety requirements and collect safety documentation from field technicians Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and safety standards Required Qualifications 4+ years' experience in a field services or technical role leading field teams Availability to travel approximately 50% of the time Knowledge of electrical power theory including resistive and reactive circuits, vector analysis, harmonic functions, and control circuits Sufficient experience and knowledge of medium voltage properties that affect power transfer, including conductive properties and arc flash/short circuit hazards Ability to coordinate schedules, sequences of sub-contractors, and testing activities Understanding of electrical drawings and diagrams Ability to inspect and identify physical circumstances that could compromise medium voltage system integrity Complete understanding of medium voltage standard practices for safe handling of medium voltage materials and equipment Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and comparable tools Excellent communication skills and ability to successfully coordinate between field teams, customers, and project managers Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment Safety-conscious with knowledge of safety regulations and procedures Ability to work independently or as part of a team Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field Electrical License Understanding of testing reports from 3rd party engineering and testing companies OSHA electrical training First-hand knowledge of
