About the Position We are expanding and currently seeking CNC Field Service Engineers based near Detroit, MI. Key Responsibilities Perform installation, repair, and maintenance of CNC machinery, accessories, and automation equipment Repair of products at customer locations throughout a region or extended territory Assembly / modification of standard products on-site Troubleshoot with end-users and dealers remotely via telephone and email Assist in maintaining and monitoring stock of repair/installation of parts Related duties as required Skills and Requirements Working knowledge of Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls Working knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems, electrical systems, and mechanical systems on CNC machinery A good understanding of PMC and PLC ladder logic, helpful Must be willing to accommodate frequent travel Ability to work successfully in a team environment Strong communication skills Ability to work with minimal supervision after completing our training program Valid driver's license with good driving record Preferred Education and Experience High school education or greater Technical degree a plus 3+ years of related experience Benefits As an employee of Absolute Machine Tools, not only will you help the company succeed and grow, but you will also share in the rewards as an employee owner through our Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) .
