Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
This position will provide maintenance and servicing of cremation and ancillary equipment and technical assistance to our customers located throughout North America.This can include the following:
Servicing of new equipment, emission testing, troubleshooting on site, regular preventative maintenance, repairs on site, operator training and modification of equipment and systems. As a Field Services Engineer, you will be responsible for: Visiting customer sites to discuss servicing of equipment to maximize customer experience Servicing new equipment to factory specifications Acting as a consultant to our customer base regarding our products Performing all assigned planned maintenance Processing paperwork upon completion of each job Requirements for theField Service Engineer:
- Be available and accessible by phone and computer daily as required
- Communicate effectively with customers to clearly explain equipment requirements
- Use sound judgment to handle any safety related issues
- Self-starter, clean and responsible individual capable of making independent decisions
- Provide detailed and clear service reports Must have valid Driver's License with proof of insurance and good driving record - Also currently hold or obtain a passport for international travel Versatile equipment maintenance skill set Excellent customer communication skills 1-3 years wrench in hand experience (mechanical & electrical a plus) Ability to read mechanical and electrical drawings and schematics preferred Must have standard tools used in the craft
