STEQ America is a sales distributor working in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology markets. Our business provides high-quality technical equipment-based solutions throughout North America, from an assortment top of the range of European derived manufacturing and laboratory equipment manufacturers. STEQ America is seeking a self-starting, highly motived, Field Service Technician. This position is responsible for technical support, installation coordination/supervision, fault finding and troubleshooting, operator training and maintenance activities. The intention of this critical role is to promote service support and installation tasks toward client fulfilment, delivering exceptional customer satisfaction, maintaining long-term client relationships and trust, and delivering on time projects and within predicted profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Primary responsibilities: Provide service and customer support during field visits and installations Execution of equipment installation, commissioning, and operator training. Manage all on site installation, repair, maintenance and test tasks Produce timely and detailed service reports by completing documentation and coordinating data input to the CRM [Salesforce] Ability to work remotely and with limited supervision Build positive relationships with customers supporting capital equipment projects. Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field is preferred but not required. 3+ years of experience in the Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology industry. Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM tools preferred, Salesforce experience is an advantage. A valid driver's license is required. Must travel as required up to 60% in the continental US. International travel will be required; one must possess, or be able to acquire, the required government travel identification documents for domestic and international travel
Required Skills:
Effective communicator, with strong oral and written skills Demonstrate strong organizational, problem-solving, and reporting skills Strong understanding of electromechanical concepts as they apply to GMP manufacturing processes. Ability to prioritize and effectively multi-task in a fast-paced environment Proficient in industrial electrical troubleshooting. Familiar with pharmaceutical qualification FAT, SAT, and IOQ.

Details:
Salary range subject to experience, plus bonus linked to performance. Candidate will be required to provide two (2) work references and pass a background check. Onboard training will include travel to customer sites for installation, qualification, and servicing of STEQ equipment. Support hands-on services with specific manufacturing process-support automated machinery to gain in-depth knowledge of equipment function and process benefits.
