Job Description

Overview Yeti Restoration is a locally owned property damage restoration company based in Anchorage, Alaska. We help homeowners and businesses recover from water, fire, and mold damage with professionalism, speed, and compassion. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a mitigation technician/foreman who's hungry and interested to advance in the restoration industry. Responsibilities Lead and supervise water mitigation and flood restoration projects, ensuring efficient and thorough completion. Respond promptly to emergency calls for water damage, flood, and fire restoration situations. Operate company vehicles, power tools, hand tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively on job sites. Implement safety protocols by using personal protective equipment (PPE), respiratory protection, and adhering to all safety standards. Document project details accurately, to include dry logs, sketches, matterport scans and equipment logs. Communicate clearly with clients to provide exceptional customer service while explaining procedures and progress. Maintain a clean work environment by following proper cleaning procedures during and after projects. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations related to restoration industry standards and environmental hazards. Maintain mitigation equipment and vehicles to ensure continuous operability Qualifications Proven experience in water damage restoration, flood response, or related restoration fields; industry-specific certifications are a plus. Construction experience or familiarity with building materials enhances your ability to assess damage effectively. Strong knowledge of safety protocols including PPE use, respiratory protection, and hazardous material handling such as asbestos or mold abatement. Ability to operate power tools, hand tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and company vehicles confidently. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude toward helping clients through stressful situations. Flexibility to provide on-call coverage for emergency response needs outside regular hours.

Pay:
$22.00 - $35.00 per hour
