Remote NETA Field Service Technician - Gulf Coast Region Sunbelt Solomon United States, Alabama, Bay Minette 49191 Rabun Road (Show on map) Jul 22, 2026 As a Field Service Technician, you'll play a key role in supporting our customers by inspecting, testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electrical power distribution equipment. You'll work hands-on with a wide range of systems, deliver exceptional service, and be a trusted resource in the field representing Sunbelt Solomon. What You'll Do Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and maintain low, medium, and high-voltage electrical distribution equipment.
Perform electrical testing on transformers, breakers, switchgear, relays, and related equipment.
Respond to customer needs including occasional emergency calls with professionalism and urgency.
Ensure a safe work environment by following company and customer safety standards.
Maintain accurate daily reports and documentation.
Properly manage, check in/out, and care for company tools and test equipment.
Travel locally and regionally, with periodic overnight assignments.
High school diploma or GED; technical training or associate degree in electrical trades preferred.
NETA certification preferred; will substitute 3 years of relevant work experience on commercial or industrial electrical projects
Strong communication skills and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
Ability to read and interpret one-line diagrams and control schematics.
Skilled in the use of industrial electrical test equipment.
Valid driver's license and ability to meet background and drug-screen requirements.
Physical capability to work outdoors, lift up to 75 lbs., operate tools, and use required PPE (arc-flash gear, fall protection, respirators, etc.).
Eligibility to work in the US without need for employer sponsored VISA (work permit)
