Job Summary Client is seeking a Field Service Technician to support sales and service activities in the Decatur, AL / North Alabama area . This position involves working at customer sites in chemical plants and other heavy industrial environments . The technician will perform routine testing and process monitoring, maintain and troubleshoot equipment, manage chemical inventory, and provide technical support to customers. Key Responsibilities Perform routine testing and monitoring at customer sites, including data entry and service report preparation. Communicate with customers to understand issues related to chemicals, equipment, and processes . Manage product inventory and assist with chemical deliveries, transfers, and offloading to customer tanks . Adjust chemical feed levels based on testing and monitoring to support optimal chemical performance. Identify and troubleshoot equipment or process issues and escalate concerns when necessary. Conduct additional testing to identify opportunities for process and dosage improvements . Set up, maintain, and troubleshoot chemical monitoring and feed equipment . Perform mechanical and electrical equipment repairs . Must-Have Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 2 years of experience working with mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial environment. Ability to work in a heavy industrial/chemical plant environment . Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to perform routine testing, monitoring, documentation, and data entry. Willingness to work Monday-Friday day shift and occasional weekend overtime . Ability to safely handle and work around industrial chemicals and equipment. Chemical handling experience is preferred but not required.
