About the Role Client is seeking a Field Service Technician to support customer sites in the Decatur, AL / North Alabama area . This position is ideal for someone with experience working with mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial environment . You will perform routine testing, equipment maintenance, chemical handling, process monitoring, troubleshooting, and customer support while maintaining a strong focus on safety. Key Responsibilities Perform routine testing and monitoring at customer sites. Enter test data and assist with service report preparation. Work directly with customers to identify chemical or equipment issues. Manage product inventory and coordinate chemical deliveries. Offload chemicals into customer tanks and process units. Adjust chemical feed levels based on testing and process conditions. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and escalate concerns when needed. Conduct additional testing to identify dosage improvements and mechanical impacts. Install, set up, maintain, and troubleshoot chemical monitoring and feed equipment. Perform basic mechanical and electrical equipment repairs. Work with site teams and customers to ensure optimal program performance. Maintain accurate records and follow all safety procedures. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 2+ years of experience working with mechanical and electrical systems in an industrial environment. Chemical handling experience is preferred but not required . Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work safely in a heavy industrial/chemical plant environment. Comfortable working independently at customer sites. Ability to work occasional weekend overtime.

Pay:

Up to $26.00 per hour
