Lead Mitigation Technician Maxim Restoration | Mesa, Arizona Maxim Restoration is looking for an experienced, dependable, and motivated Lead Mitigation Technician to join our growing team. We're looking for someone who knows the mitigation industry, takes pride in their work, and is ready to step into a leadership role. This position is more than working mitigation jobs in the field. Our Lead Mitigation Technician will help lead our technicians, train and develop new team members, maintain our company standards, and ensure every job is handled professionally from start to finish. What You'll Do Lead water mitigation and restoration projects from initial response through completion Provide clear daily direction to mitigation technicians and ensure crews understand the scope of work Respond to water losses and assess affected areas Perform moisture mapping and document affected materials Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment Perform demolition and other mitigation services as necessary Ensure job sites are clean, organized, and properly protected Complete thorough job documentation, photos, notes, and required paperwork Communicate professionally with homeowners, project managers, adjusters, and other members of the Maxim team Make sure technicians are following Maxim Restoration's mitigation procedures and job-site standards Identify issues in the field and communicate them to management quickly Help manage technicians and hold the team accountable for quality, attendance, professionalism, and performance Participate in leadership meetings and work closely with the Mitigation Manager Leadership & Training A major part of this position is helping us build a stronger mitigation department.

The Lead Mitigation Technician will:

Help train and onboard new mitigation technicians Mentor technicians until they are confident and capable of working independently Help identify areas where the team needs additional training Plan and coordinate structured weekly skills training with the Mitigation Manager Provide hands-on training in water mitigation, drying principles, equipment setup, moisture mapping, documentation, demolition, safety, and customer communication Reinforce Maxim Restoration's SOPs and expectations in the field Lead by example and help create a team culture built around accountability, communication, quality work, and growth What We're Looking For Previous water mitigation/restoration experience required Previous lead or supervisory experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of water damage restoration and drying procedures Comfortable leading and training other technicians Strong attention to detail and documentation Excellent communication and customer-service skills Dependable, organized, and able to take initiative Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can change quickly Ability to perform the physical duties associated with mitigation and restoration work Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Willingness to participate in an on-call schedule as needed IICRC certifications are a plus Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who doesn't just want another technician position.
