We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, and is ready to learn and grow within the restoration industry. As a Mitigation Technician, you'll work directly with our mitigation team responding to water damage and helping homeowners get their properties back on track. What You'll Do Respond to water damage and mitigation jobs Assist with water extraction, demolition, cleanup, and drying Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment Perform moisture readings and assist with moisture mapping Protect customers' belongings and unaffected areas of the property before beginning work Take detailed before, during, and after photos of job sites Complete accurate daily job notes and required documentation Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites Properly clean, maintain, and organize company equipment and vehicles Follow job scopes, company procedures, and Maxim Restoration SOPs Communicate professionally and respectfully with homeowners and other members of the team Follow direction from Lead Mitigation Technicians and the Mitigation Manager Participate in weekly skills training and ongoing development Be available for assigned on-call shifts and emergency mitigation jobs What We're Looking For Water mitigation or restoration experience is preferred, but we're willing to train the right person Dependable and punctual Strong work ethic and willingness to learn Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team Comfortable working in different environments and conditions Detail-oriented, especially when it comes to photos and job documentation Professional and respectful when working inside customers' homes Able to perform the physical duties required for demolition, water extraction, equipment setup, and restoration work Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation IICRC certification is a plus What We Expect From Our Team At Maxim Restoration, our technicians represent our company every time they walk into a customer's home.
