Putah Creek Council's OneCreek Seasonal Restoration Technician program is a paid ($16.90/hr) opportunity for those interested in the field of conservation/restoration and want to gain hands-on experience working in the field. This position is entry-level , for those that need more field experience or native plant knowledge and for people interested in learning new skills that may help give them direction in their new career. Please fill out the following form and provide as much detail as possible. Field days will take place Wednesdays and Thursdays 9:00am-12:00pm . Most, if not all, events will be outside. The Fall 2026 OneCreek program is set to run for 8 weeks from Wednesday, September 30th through Thursday, November 19th . We are accepting applications for our fall cohort until Monday, September 7th at 11:59pm PST. The position requires applicants to be comfortable working outdoors during all weather conditions, hiking and working on slopes and rough terrain, and lifting 50 lbs. Transportation is not provided to work sites, but typically other technicians are willing to give rides from Davis. Applicants must be age 18 or older . It is not required to be a college student or graduate, but some experience or educational background in native plants, agriculture, wildlife, environmental policy, or other related field(s) is preferred.
