Porsche Restoration Technician 9 Auto Motion - West Palm Beach, Florida Build exceptional Porsches. We are looking for an experienced Porsche Restoration Technician to join our growing team. This is not a production workshop where you're chasing flat-rate hours. It's an opportunity to work on some of the finest air-cooled and water-cooled Porsche projects in the country, alongside technicians who care about doing things properly. About the Role You'll be responsible for the mechanical restoration, assembly and commissioning of classic Porsche models, working to exceptionally high standards from initial inspection through to final road testing. Projects include complete nut-and-bolt restorations, engine and transmission installations, suspension rebuilds, braking systems, electrical fault diagnosis, fuel systems, and final vehicle setup. Every vehicle is different. Every build matters. What You'll Be Doing Mechanical restoration of classic Porsche models (356, 911, 912, 914, 930, 964, 993 and later models) Complete vehicle disassembly and reassembly Engine and transmission removal, installation and commissioning Suspension, steering and brake system rebuilding Electrical diagnosis and repair Reading workshop manuals and following detailed build specifications Road testing and quality control inspections Working closely with our restoration and service teams to deliver exceptional customer vehicles Maintaining accurate documentation and workshop records What We're Looking For Minimum 5 years professional automotive technician experience Porsche dealership or independent Porsche specialist experience preferred Strong mechanical diagnostic and problem-solving skills High attention to detail and pride in workmanship Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Professional attitude with excellent organizational skills Valid driver's license Ability to work legally in the United States (or willingness to relocate with appropriate work authorization) Ideal Experience Experience with one or more of the following: Air-cooled Porsche engines Porsche engine and transmission rebuilding Porsche electrical diagnostics Porsche Classic restoration Performance upgrades Race car preparation TIG welding or fabrication (advantageous but not essential) What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Modern climate-controlled workshop Premium equipment and specialist Porsche tooling Ongoing technical development Stable, long-term career opportunity Paid holidays and fully paid healthcare benefits Supportive, professional team environment Opportunity to work on some of the most interesting Porsche restoration projects in North America About 9 Auto Motion Founded in 2018, 9 Auto Motion has earned a reputation for meticulous workmanship, technical excellence and outstanding customer service.
