Job Description

Field Service Technician (Part-Time) - Soil Moisture Monitoring AquaSpy provides root-level soil moisture data to help growers optimize irrigation. We're hiring a part-time technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot probe systems in the fiel d. What You'll Do Install and extract soil moisture probe systems using a power auger and drill Troubleshoot and repair installed systems in crop fields Extract systems from crop fields before harvest Track inventory and support third‑party installation teams when needed Travel to farms across the Central Valley region; occasional overnight trips What You Bring Organized, reliable, and able to work independently Comfortable with physical labor; able to lift 50 lbs Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new software Strong troubleshooting ability—both in-field and on a computer Good communication skills Valid driver's license and clean driving record Not afraid of dirt, weather, or long days outdoors Compensation & Perks $20-$25/hour Travel reimbursement All tools and equipment provided Flexible scheduling Work is fully in-person and field-based
