Job Description

Temporary Accounts Payable Clerk Basic Purpose:
Reporting to the Accounts Payable Specialist, the Temporary Part-Time Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for providing administrative and data entry support to the Accounts Payable department. This role will assist with day-to-day accounting functions, maintain accurate records, and help ensure timely processing of invoices and financial documentation. This is a temporary assignment expected to last approximately one month and will work 20-30 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Accounts Payable Specialist with daily accounting and administrative tasks. Perform accurate and timely data entry of invoices, vendor information, and payment records. Review invoices and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy. Organize, file, and maintain accounts payable records and documentation. Assist with matching purchase orders, invoices, and receiving documents. Respond to internal requests for accounts payable information. Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information. Perform other clerical and administrative duties as assigned. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous data entry, clerical, administrative, or accounting experience preferred. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. Strong organizational and communication skills.
Pay:
