Install and Repair Advanced Access Solutions Job Overview:

Salary/Pay Rate:
$27 to $40 per hour plus Year-End Bonus.
Location:
Ventura, CA (Service area throughout Southern California).
Job/Employment Type:
Full Time.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday with required Weekends, Overtime, and On-Call rotation.
Project Scope:
Automatic and manual door install and repair (Residential, Commercial, Government or Federal).
Mandatory Licenses & Certifications:
None Required.
The Opportunity:
You will serve as a vital technical expert ensuring the security and accessibility of high-traffic facilities ranging from hospitals to federal buildings. This role offers the autonomy of field-based work and the chance to master complex access control integrations. Impact:
Execute high-quality installations and repairs of automatic pedestrian doors, panic hardware, and electric locks. Integrate sophisticated access control systems including keypads, maglocks, and ADA/handicap door operators. Diagnose complex mechanical and electrical failures on-site to restore facility security and functionality. Manage a company service vehicle to provide rapid, professional response to priority service calls. Document technical field reports clearly to ensure accurate communication with the home office and clients. Coordinate with team members during large-scale glazing and storefront glass projects at sensitive locations. Maintain a safe and organized workspace while handling heavy materials and specialized power tools.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot moving parts and circuitry. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record as determined by insurance carriers. Physical ability to safely lift and transport door panels weighing at least 100 pounds. Absolute flexibility to work odd hours, mandatory overtime, and participate in an on-call rotation.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED. Previous professional experience in locksmithing, access control, low voltage, glazing, glass storefronts, or general commercial construction. Advanced understanding of basic electronics or electrical theory. Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a field environment.
