Lake & Pond Maintenance Technician - Southern California Diversified Waterscapes, Inc. (DWI) is an established lake and pond management company serving properties throughout Southern California. Learn more at www.dwiwater.com . We are seeking a dependable, mechanically inclined individual who enjoys working outdoors and wants a stable, long-term career not just another temporary job. Job Responsibilities Maintain and treat lakes, ponds, fountains, and other water features Inspect, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on pumps and related equipment Apply approved aquatic treatment products following company procedures Remove algae, weeds, debris, and other unwanted material Operate company vehicles, boats, sprayers, and field equipment Document completed work and report equipment or site concerns Communicate professionally with customers and supervisors Required Qualifications Valid driver's license and clean driving record No DUI convictions and no more than one moving violation Mechanically inclined and comfortable troubleshooting equipment Able to swim and work safely around water Reliable, punctual, organized, and attentive to detail Able to work independently and follow written instructions Quick learner with a strong work ethic Stable employment history demonstrating reliability and commitment Comfortable performing physical outdoor work in varying weather conditions Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is helpful but not required: Pumps, irrigation, plumbing, or basic mechanical repairs Landscaping, property maintenance, or other field service work Lake, pond, fountain, pool, or water-feature maintenance What We Offer Full-time, year-round employment Consistent daytime schedule and great working hours Company vehicle provided for work-related use Paid on-the-job training Paid vacation 401(k) retirement plan Advancement opportunities with a stable, established company Please note: This position does not include health insurance.
