Workers in this field can specialize in the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of industrial, hardware, construction or electronic equipment just to name a few. These roles may work in a variety of remote locations and can travel up to multiple locations in a day.

As the Equipment Yard Technician you will play a key role in the set-up, calibration, transportation, and maintenance of construction equipment for field construction staff use. You will help ensure safe, efficient operations while building strong working relationships with office and field staff. This position will be responsible for maintaining operations in our equipment yards as well as operate forklifts and perform maintenance on buildings and facilities as well as hauling/freighting equipment to different job sites. You will support deliveries and pickups at construction sites including equipment support, loading/unloading, and general labor tasks. Key Responsibilities Maintain yard operations and collaborate with Equipment Manager on daily tasks and staging for equipment freighting and other operations Perform maintenance both in the yard and in company offices on various equipment Transport equipment and materials to and from project sites Assist with loading and unloading trucks as needed Perform hands-on field work at job sites (mechanical, general labor, or support tasks) Support basic troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment (training provided) Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company safety protocols Communicate effectively with team members and customers on-site Other duties as assigned. Qualification & Experience Must have a Valid Driver's License with a good driving record Forklift certification experience and willingness to operate pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment
