SALARY POTENTIAL
The yearly range indicated is representative of the hourly rate, including typical overtime. This range is based on a technician's experience, skills, education and training. For technicians, overtime is typically calculated on a daily basis after 8 hours worked.
YOUR VALUE
The person in this role will be responsible for servicing and repairing NLB rental equipment in the shop and in the field.
YOUR CONTRIBUTION
You will diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on all components of our rental equipment and accessories. You will read and interpret equipment manuals, mechanical and electrical schematics, and other specifications to determine the repair method on failed components. You will replace or repair defective components, using hand tools, gauges, and testing equipment. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic equipment using hand or power tools. You will rebuild install and align pump assemblies utilizing safe rigging methods using hand or power tools. You will create, track and formalize work order documents on a timely basis You will have the ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment

MOST IMPORTANT QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
REQUIRED
High School Diploma or (GED) equivalent
REQUIRED
Strong mechanical Aptitude
REQUIRED
Basic understanding of hand tools
REQUIRED
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
REQUIRED
Ability to work in a team environment Must own required tool inventory (specifics discussed during interviews) Strong customer service skills, mechanical aptitude, professional demeanor and always "safety-first" mentality every hour of every day
JOB FACTS SHIFT SCHEDULE
Monday - Friday 7am - 5pm; may require working hours outside standard work schedule (specifics discussed during interviews)
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Requires physical movement, lifting, squatting, bending, climbing, and working with mechanical rotating parts
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must be able to occasionally lift 75 pounds from floor to chest. The employee must have the ability to reach and use the arms within a full range of motion in order to retrieve stocked parts. The employee must have the ability to endure prolonged stooping, kneeling, crouching and squatting while performing mechanical operations. The employee must be able to exert push/pull forces with the arms in order to use various wrenches and tools. The employee must be able to endure prolonged forward and overhead arm positions while performing mechanical operations. The employee must be able to use the hands to grasp hand tools and parts. The employee must have the ability to climb onto and operate equipment. The employee must have the ability to operate and maintain a field service vehicle with GVW of less than 26,000 lbs.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Employee regularly works indoors around moving mechanical parts. May be exposed to weather extremes when working outside in conditions that include inclement weather, heat, cold, and humidity. The noise level may be loud at times. Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment. Required to perform work in cramped spaces and/or high places. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate, with occasional loudness when equipment is running. We require strict compliance with PPE (personal protective equipment) safety regulations. We maintain compliance with all Federal, State and Local safety and company regulations. All employees must follow all Company Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) procedures.
