This role is responsible for assisting with water, fire, smoke, mold, and other restoration services, removing damaged materials, operating restoration equipment, maintaining clean work areas, and helping restore properties safely and efficiently. Key Responsibilities Assist with water, fire, smoke, mold, and property restoration projects Inspect affected areas and identify visible damage Remove damaged materials, debris, and contents as directed Set up and operate drying, dehumidification, air-movement, and restoration equipment Clean, sanitize, and deodorize affected areas Assist with demolition, cleanup, and preparation of restoration sites Pack, move, and protect customer belongings when required Monitor drying equipment and document jobsite conditions Maintain accurate project notes, photographs, and service documentation Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members Follow safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment (PPE) Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas Report equipment problems, hazards, or additional property damage promptly Assist restoration crews with emergency and time-sensitive service calls Perform additional restoration and cleanup duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous restoration, construction, maintenance, cleaning, or general labor experience preferred but not required Ability to operate or learn restoration equipment safely Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Good communication and customer service abilities Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials Ability to work in damaged or contaminated environments when properly equipped Valid driver's license may be required Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Schedule Full-time position Schedule based on restoration project and emergency service needs Evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime may be required Emergency or on-call assignments may be required Benefits Health Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401(k) / Retirement Plan Paid Time Off (PTO)
