Hourly Pay Range:
$17.00 - $32.83
Responsibilities:
Maintain an organized inventory of tools and equipment. Inspect, clean, and perform basic maintenance on tools. Coordinate tool check-in/check-out procedures for field crews. Track tool usage, repairs, and replacements using inventory software. Ensure tools meet safety and operational standards. Assist with procurement of new tools and supplies. Coordinate calibration and certification of specialized equipment. Support safety audits and inspections related to tool usage. Transport tools and equipment between job sites as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years of experience in tool management, warehouse, or utility operations preferred. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and utility equipment. Strong organizational and record-keeping skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Physical Demands:
Frequently required to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly. Ability to work in outdoor environments and varying weather conditions. May be required to climb ladders or access elevated areas. Use of hands and arms to handle, carry, and operate tools and equipment. Occasional driving to and from job sites or storage facilities.
Work Environment:
Combination of indoor tool room and outdoor field environments. Exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures. Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
