This role conducts assessments, develops individualized care plans, and guides youth through restorative, strengths-based services designed to address underlying needs, repair harm, and support long-term success. Specialists build trusting relationships with youth and families, connect them to appropriate resources, and ensure consistent engagement throughout their participation in the program. Responsibilities Conduct trauma-informed assessments to identify youth strengths, needs, and risk factors. Develop and implement individualized restorative plans to promote accountability, skill-building, and long-term success. Build supportive, trusting relationships with youth and families, fostering engagement and positive development. Facilitate restorative practices, skill-building sessions, and interventions designed to repair harm and promote resilience. Connect youth and families to community resources, counseling, educational programs, and other supportive services. Serve as a liaison between youth, families, and multidisciplinary teams, including courts, probation, and social services. Maintain accurate, timely records of assessments, care plans, progress notes, and outcomes, ensuring compliance with confidentiality and program requirements. Participate in program evaluation and contribute to the development of best practices in restorative youth services. Stay current on trauma-informed care, restorative justice practices, and evidence-based interventions for youth. Attend training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills. Facilitate programming for youth diversion and parenting classes. Qualifications Lived experience relevant to the experiences of at-promise or system-impacted youth is required for this role. Ability to work cooperatively within Family Justice Center model and collaborate with partners and other community agencies on behalf of victims. Must be willing to submit to background investigation. Possession of a valid California Driver's License, valid proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation is required. Regular travel using company vehicles to transport clients, meet at community locations, and attend partnership and outreach events is required.
