We provide new forklift sales, maintenance, repair services, and replacement parts for electric and internal combustion forklifts. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a motivated and skilled Field Service Technician to join our team. Position Summary The Field Service Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, maintaining, and inspecting customer forklifts and other material handling equipment at customer locations. This position requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, excellent customer service, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance on electric and IC forklifts Diagnose and repair hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, steering, braking, and drive systems Troubleshoot electrical circuits, controllers, motors, chargers, and batteries Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship Travel to customer sites throughout the Atlanta metropolitan area Perform equipment inspections and safety checks Accurately complete service reports using mobile devices Communicate repair recommendations and equipment status to customers Maintain company service vehicle, tools, and inventory Follow OSHA safety standards and company procedures Qualifications 3+ years of experience repairing forklifts and warehouse equipment Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems Ability to read wiring diagrams and service manuals Experience with electric forklifts is needed Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication and customer service skills EPA, ASE, or OEM forklift certifications are a plus Required Experience Minimum 3 years of hands-on forklift repair and maintenance experience required . Previous experience servicing electric and LPG forklifts is required. Must have hands-on experience with forklift hydraulic, electrical, mechanical, and braking systems . Ability to independently diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on forklifts. Candidates without prior forklift service/repair experience will not be considered. Physical Requirements Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs independently . Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, squat, climb, push, and pull as required to perform equipment service and repairs. Ability to work in confined or restricted spaces around and underneath forklifts. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, diagnostic equipment, jacks, and lifting equipment. Ability to perform field service work in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, yards, and outdoor environments. Ability to safely enter and exit forklifts and service vehicles multiple times throughout the workday.
