Fairfield County (Stamford warehouse & office) We're Looking for an Experienced Lead All Dry Services is growing, and we are looking for an experienced Lead Mitigation Technician to join our Stamford/Fairfield County team.
We want to be upfront:
finding experienced, ambitious mitigation technicians in the Fairfield County market isn't easy. We are not looking to simply fill a position—we are looking for the right person with the hands-on experience, leadership ability, work ethic, and customer-service mindset to become a key member of our team. If you have 2-3+ years of water mitigation/restoration experience , understand what it takes to run a job site, and are looking for a company where you can grow in your career, we want to hear from you. Location Matters Because this is a lead and emergency-response position , we are specifically looking for candidates who live approximately 40 minutes or less from our Stamford office/warehouse . You will be responding to emergency water losses throughout Fairfield County, and proximity to our Stamford location is important for response times, scheduling, and on-call responsibilities. Our Stamford office is the home base for this position. Who We Are The Opportunity As a Lead Mitigation Technician , you will be responsible for leading restoration projects from the initial response through completion. You will work directly with technicians, customers, property managers, insurance professionals, and our management team to ensure jobs are completed safely, efficiently, and professionally. This is a hands-on leadership position . You should be comfortable getting dirty, using equipment, performing demolition, documenting jobs, solving problems in the field, and helping less-experienced technicians develop their skills. You will report directly to the General Manager of Connecticut . Why Work for All Dry? - Conduct inspections and write estimates for prospective customers
- Lead water mitigation and restoration jobs from start to finish
- Perform water extraction, drying, demolition, and related mitigation services
- Assist with mold remediation and smoke/fire restoration projects
- Evaluate job sites and identify affected materials and areas
- Set up, monitor, and break down drying equipment
- Lead and mentor Junior Technicians in the field
- Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, and other customers
- Complete job documentation, photos, forms, checklists, and electronic paperwork
- Use our CRM and technology to document and manage jobs
- Participate in pre
- and post-job briefings
- Maintain company vehicles and equipment
- Ensure job sites are clean, safe, and organized
- Follow company, OSHA, and industry safety standards
- Respond to emergency water losses when scheduled/on-call
- Help identify problems and develop solutions in the field
- Represent All Dry professionally on every job
- Take on additional responsibilities as the company continues to grow What We're Looking ForRequired / Strongly Preferred
- 2-3+ years of water mitigation/restoration experience
- Previous experience leading or managing mitigation job sites
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record
- Comfortable using tools and restoration equipment
- Comfortable using computers, smartphones, tablets, and CRM software
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to lead and work effectively with a team
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and make good decisions in the field
- Willingness to learn and continue developing professionally A Strong Plus
- IICRC certifications (e.
g.
WRT, ASD
)
- OSHA or other safety training
- Mold remediation experience
- Smoke/fire restoration experience
- Experience with moisture meters, air movers, dehumidifiers, DocuSketch and other restoration equipment
- Construction, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical, or maintenance experience
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience

Candidates must be able to:

- Climb ladders and work at heights
- Work in confined spaces when necessary
- Work in wet, dirty, hot, cold, or otherwise challenging environments
- Perform repetitive physical tasks
