About the Position We are looking for a motivated, dependable, and hands-on Crew Leader to join our growing team in Oakville, CT. This is a working leadership position for someone who enjoys physical labor, takes pride in their work, and has the ability to lead by example. As a Crew Leader, you will perform daily restoration work, including demolition, cleaning, and property restoration, while also directing and overseeing your crew. You will be responsible for maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping projects on schedule, and communicating with project managers and homeowners. You will also use various software, documentation systems, and sketching tools to help maintain accurate job records, communicate project details, and keep an efficient workflow throughout each project. Previous restoration or construction experience is preferred , but we are willing to train the right person. We value a strong work ethic, positive attitude, initiative, and a willingness to learn. Qualifications Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail Ability to take initiative, problem-solve, and make decisions under pressure Ability to lead by example and work well with a team IICRC certifications in Water, Fire & Smoke, Odor Control, and Mold are preferred; willingness to learn and pursue industry certifications is required Ability and willingness to learn and use various software, documentation, and sketching tools Proficiency in English required; Spanish is a plus Valid driver's license with a clean driving record High school diploma or equivalent Previous leadership, construction, or restoration experience is a plus, but not required Responsibilities Perform daily hands-on restoration work, including demolition, cleaning, and material removal Lead, direct, and work alongside a crew of restoration technicians Assign tasks and ensure work is completed according to project plans and company standards Monitor job progress, maintain quality control, and uphold safety standards Communicate with project managers and homeowners regarding project progress and any concerns Provide guidance, and hands-on support to crew members Travel to multiple job sites throughout the day as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Take ownership of assigned projects and ensure work is completed efficiently and on schedule
