A Field Service Technician services and repairs equipment and machines in a variety of customer locations such as residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Workers in this field can specialize in the diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of industrial, hardware, construction or electronic equipment just to name a few. These roles may work in a variety of remote locations and can travel up to multiple locations in a day.

This field service position would require travel to various customer locations to primarily oversee installation of CEC equipment. While onsite for installation, you would be responsible for supervising and ensuring the quality of the contractors that are installing the system.
Desired experience is as follows:
Strong mechanical background in Industrial Machinery Fabrication (preferably furnace fabrication), installation and troubleshooting. Strong background in Electrical installation and Electrical engineering codes (120v-480v). Strong understanding of piping systems, Natural gas burners, combustion systems and schematics. Ability to read and comprehend 2D mechanical drawings. 3D modeling experience is a plus. (Solidworks preferred) Experience in managing all on-site activities including correspondence with customer and installation crew/contractor. Knowledge of electrical wiring and standards for conduit wires within furnaces in shop Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers and customers within a cooperative team environment. 5 years of verifiable experience in machinery installation and commissioning required. Up to 50% travel and 50% work in shop Must be able to pass drug and criminal background screenings.
