Field Service Technician — Fire Features Kailua-Kona, HI

This one has a view and a flamethrower. We build, install, and service remote-controlled tiki torches and fire bowls — patented, automated, and located on the best addresses in Hawai'i. Resorts. Coffee plantations. Dude Ranches. 4 Star Restaurants. Oceanfront estates. Places where the sunset is the second-best thing on the property. We're hiring a Field Service Technician to keep that fire burning on demand. What the job actually looks like: There's no typical day, which is either the best or worst part depending on who you are. Monday

• Wading into an olympic-sized infinity pool to test the pedestal fire bowl sitting in the middle Wednesday
• Interisland flight, four service calls, one overnight Friday
• In the shop, welding and assembling custom pieces You will: Service and maintain our fire features on-site Travel between islands — overnight trips are part of the deal Manage invoicing and maintain accounts Diagnose problems in the field and own them until they're solved Hold the line on safety and quality (we work with propane; there is no casual day) Leave every customer glad they called us Manage your own time with a supportive team behind you Who we're looking for: We are not looking for someone who already knows how to service an automated fire feature.

We are looking for someone who: Is comfortable working outdoors — sun, wind, salt, and the occasional lava-adjacent job site Wants to learn a trade most people have never heard of Solves problems instead of cataloging them Treats customers like the reason the paychecks clear (they are) Has a clean driving record and can be insured Can lift and carry 60 lbs
