Field Service Technician FarmChem Corp - Floyd, IA 50435 $25.00 - $31.00 per hour FarmChem Corp is headquartered in Floyd, Iowa and sells handling equipment for chemical, seed, and energy products. FarmChem also manufactures custom products to meet customer specific needs and provides tank level monitoring systems for liquid inventory tracking and product management.
General Description:
Want to travel? This position is responsible for a service area covering Iowa and surrounding states as needed. Performs highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain remotely located tank level monitoring equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes at ag retailer sites nationwide. Demonstrated success in tank level monitoring equipment will advance into other nationwide field service programs to include small scales weights and measures.
Areas of Responsibility:
Tank Level monitoring Service and install tank level monitoring equipment on above ground tanks Dispensing technology Install dispensing machines Service, repair, and upgrades to machines Job Requirements Current driver's license with insurable record Travel every week and home on weekends Travel is around 90% average (most weeks its 100%) Minimum 1-year experience with hand and power tools Drills, Impact driver, Sawzall, hammer drill and more Possesses good trouble shooting skills Able to climb ladders and work at heights
Compensation:
Base hourly rate $25.00 - $31.00 per hour DOE and location. Overtime pay several months of the year.
