What You'll Be Doing Installing indoor and outdoor stairlifts in residential homes Setting up rails, seats, wiring, and power supplies Testing systems and making sure everything runs perfectly Troubleshooting and servicing stairlift systems Performing annual service visits and preventative maintenance Keeping track of tools and parts using barcode inventory Completing job reports and working with tech support teams Providing friendly, respectful, top-notch customer service Maintaining your company vehicle, tools, and equipment Following safety guidelines and completing daily time punches What We're Looking For Someone who enjoys hands-on work and problem-solving Comfortable using tablets, computers, barcode scanners and basic software Strong math and measurement skills Calm, professional, and empathetic with customers Reliable, adaptable, and able to manage a changing schedule Team player who takes pride in doing great work Experience & Education High school diploma or GED required 1-3 years of related technical or installation experience Stairlift installation experience is a plus (we train the right people!) State-required licensing as applicable Valid driver's license required Physical & Work Details Ability to lift up to 120 lbs Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and driving Occasional weekends and longer days as needed Work takes place in residential homes, indoors and outdoors Why Acorn?
