We manage the entire restoration process, from emergency water mitigation and property-damage documentation through reconstruction and final completion. We are hiring two IICRC-certified water mitigation technicians to join our field team. Position Overview Water Mitigation Technicians respond to residential water losses and perform the emergency mitigation work that limits damage and prepares each property for reconstruction. The role combines hands-on extraction, drying, and remediation with the documentation required to support each insurance claim. Primary Responsibilities
- Respond to water losses, extract standing water, and set containment to limit the spread of damage
- Set and monitor drying equipment, including air movers, dehumidifiers, and air scrubbers
- Take moisture readings and maintain accurate daily drying logs
- Perform controlled demolition and removal of unsalvageable materials
- Handle Category 2 and Category 3 losses, including sewage, using the correct personal protective equipment and protocol
- Perform mold remediation under containment
- Photograph and document all work thoroughly, as the claim file supports the invoice
- Load, maintain, and account for equipment, and keep the assigned vehicle stocked and clean
- Explain the work clearly and professionally to homeowners
- Report job status to the office so each claim continues to move forward Requirements
- Current IICRC certification: WRT (Water Damage Restoration Technician) or equivalent
- Prior hands-on water mitigation or restoration experience
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record, as you will operate a company vehicle
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more repeatedly, work in crawlspaces and attics, and wear a respirator
- Willingness to participate in the scheduled on-call rotation
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen Preferred
- Additional IICRC designations such as ASD or AMRT
- Experience with Xactimate or Albi
- Spanish and English bilingual
- Experience leading a crew or training newer technicians Compensation and Benefits
- $22.00 to $28.00 per hour, depending on experience and certifications
- Company vehicle provided
- $100 bonus for every after-hours call-out, in addition to your hourly pay
