The LaRue County Water District #1 is accepting applications for the position of distribution operator class I, II, III or IV.

If not certified:

We can hire candidates and fast track the certification process by utilizing their education from an accredited college or university, specifically in biology or environmental science.

Salary:

Starting salary will be based on experience qualifications and certifications.

Requirements:

Must be able to work nights and weekends during emergencies, able to work in all climates, able to perform

GIS, GPS

technology, meter reading technology, record keeping and general maintenance working well with others is very important. Perform all duties associated with distribution such as sampling, flushing hydrants and main repairs. Applicant must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Must hold valid driver's license.
