Position Profile:

Archimedia Solutions Group is seeking a skilled and motivated Copier Field Service Technician to join our field service team. In this role, you will provide on‑site hardware troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance for both large and small format office copiers and printers throughout Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire . This is a mobile, customer-facing position where you will travel to client locations in a company-provided vehicle. While on site you will diagnose hardware printer issues and be relied upon to make sound decisions, all while responding to customers' needs quickly and effectively.

Responsibilities:

Provide on-site installation, repair, and maintenance of large and small format copying/printing equipment, including HP, Canon, KIP, & Epson devices. Work alongside our IT group to troubleshoot print-related technical issues such as device networking, software installations, and device driver configuration. Communicate directly with clients to assess issues, understand situational needs, and recommend appropriate solutions. Document all service activities, diagnostics, and resolutions in the helpdesk system promptly and accurately. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth service delivery and effective problem resolution. Other duties as assigned to support overall service operations

Requirements:

Excellent mechanical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair hardware issues. Working knowledge of basic electronics Outstanding customer service skills Prior experience providing technical support for printers, related software, or network‑connected devices is a plus. Strong problem‑solving abilities and sound judgment when working independently in the field Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and respond quickly to customer needs. Highly organized and detail‑oriented Willingness to learn, take direction, and adapt to evolving technologies and processes. Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to occasionally lift up to 50lbs. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
