Work as a Field Service Technician - Electric Bus / High Voltage Electrical for an international transit manufacturer and parts distributor. This position is responsible for providing electrical expertise in the field on high-voltage electric transit buses. The ideal candidate will have experience troubleshooting complex electrical systems and a background in electric buses, HVAC, or other related technical fields. Job Responsibilities Work with advanced electric vehicle and hydrogen fuel cell technology, troubleshooting electronic, electrical, and some mechanical high-voltage issues. Install electrical systems and components on transit vehicles. Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electronic and electrical equipment. Repair or replace wiring, relays, motors, lighting, and other electrical components. Identify and troubleshoot electrical problems using testing equipment including ammeters, voltmeters, multimeters, and cable testers. Inspect electrical components such as transformers and circuit breakers. Job Requirements E-bus experience is required. 2+ years of experience in electrical, HVAC, or a related technical field. Strong electrical troubleshooting experience, including electrical wiring, circuit testing, diagnostics, and repair. Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of multiplex systems. Ability to work from blueprints, process sheets, schematics, and technical instructions as required. Solid customer service skills. Valid driver's license. PLC and ladder logic experience preferred. High-voltage experience and hydrogen training or certification preferred. General knowledge of transit bus, hybrid, and/or electric drive systems is ideal but not required.
